ok, so lately i’ve been getting bad pimples, since my period actually. i’m 13 so i understand that this is normal. the thing is that i have had these little pimples on and around my jaw bone since i was probably 9 or 10 but those are barley visible. but now i’m getting those disgusting big pink zits that turn into white heads but you cant pop them before that or they’ll bleed, near my hairline .i know gross. so i was thinking of trying proactive, but what i was wondering is : dose it really work (for both kinds of zits i have)? but also in the mean time i wanted to know what i could use for my hairline pimples right now, like stuff from home.
P.S any other recommendations on acne cleansers would be greatly appreciated.

I didn’t like pro-activ at all. It made my skin very dry and flaky. Personally, what I think is best is Cetaphil. Its very gentle and your skin feels so soft afterwards. It helped my acne. A mild toner or astringent after you wash may be good as well. Most importantly.make sure you MOISTURIZE! 🙂 The best moisturizer in my opinion is Clinique Dramatically Different moisturizing gel. It is water based so you can use as much as you want and you never have to worry about your skin feeling oily or greasy.

P.S if you’re noticing acne mostly around your hairline then it MIGHT be the shampoo you’re using.I was using a shampoo once (pantene i think it was) and it made me break out badly around my hairline.try testing a different shampoo and see if you notice a difference.
