Should Clindoxyl Be Applied To The Whole Face?

I was prescribed Clindoxyl about 2 weeks ago. I was just on the www.acne.org chat forum, and I noticed that everyone else taking it has been applying it to their whole face. I’ve been only using it in the 4 areas of my face where I have pimples. Am I incorrect in doing so? The instructions in the pamphlet that came with it said that you should use it in the infected areas, and not as a spot treatment, but I took that to mean the areas of my face with acne.

I’ve been using it for about a month now and I’ve been applying it to my whole face. I assumed when they said “not as a spot treatment” it means not to apply it just to the spots of pimples you get. Just put a thin layer over your face, you dont want to drench it on. Good luck!
